Founded in 2012, “one river” west of New York City, One River School® has developed a unique method for teaching art and design classes to people of all ages and all levels. Today, our innovative program teaches thousands of students in fourteen locations across the US.

Career opportunities at One River School allow passionate artists, educators and lovers of art to share their knowledge and enhance the lives of people they connect with everyday. Together we can transform communities by opening our space and sharing what we do for all who are interested. We work hard, laugh a lot, have fun and make people feel good. Positions are available in schools across the U.S. with new locations opening in 2023 and 2024.

SCHOOL DIRECTOR

“As a School Director I am responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service for students and parents of One River School. I have built a team of arts educators and administrators to become the cultural backbone within the local community.  My hand-picked team are fun to work with and totally support me and each other.  As a Director I can combine my love of art education with my  entrepreneurial spirit to drive the goals of the school.”

DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION

“I love leading my team of world class instructors to create amazing in-classroom experiences. I still get to teach students in the studio, which is my passion, as well as provide coaching and mentorship to group instructors. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION

“I got into teaching to inspire students and give them the skills to thrive.  As Assistant Director of Education I teach in the studio and also manage curriculum, art supplies and digital equipment. ART & DIGITAL INSTRUCTORS

INTERNSHIPS

“I had so much fun working at One River School as an intern.  I helped run a Summer Camp program and loved dealing with the students and the team of teachers and full time staff. “ 

Our Internship program is designed for students and recent graduates to acquire skills for a career in the arts. Internship opportunities range across areas of Marketing, Exhibition Planning and Education. Training and guidance is provided by One River’s management and education team.
